Dr. Boris Babiner received his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania; he further pursued the study of Periodontology and Perioprosthodontics at the renowned Periodontics Department at Penn. As a part of his residency, Dr. Babiner taught Periodontology to the pre-doctoral students, and later served as an Associate Clinical Professor at the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Babiner’s specialty training included complete periodontoplastic (gum/bone) and dental implant training as well as complex full mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Babiner also presented at professional meetings on the topic of implant restorations after having received perio-prosthesis resident director’s award from Dr. Arnold Weigold, Dr. Morton Amsterdam appointed director, for high clinical achievement.
The unique approach Dr. Boris Babiner brings to his patients is also driven by his early research involving growth of human bone from stem cells. It brought not only the best understanding of predictable procedures but also the importance of maintaining sterility in the surgical field.
